Event brand, City Tales has been shaping cultural experiences since 2015. Known for its intimate, community-driven events, the brand wanted to reconnect with its audience in a fresh, meaningful way, without relying on traditional events or physical products. The challenge was to create an experience that felt immersive, personal, and true to its artistic DNA.

We reimagined engagement through sound. At the core of the experience were curated music mixes designed to flow seamlessly through different times of the day, mornings, afternoons, and night. Using subtle tempo shifts to match each mood. DJs were invited to contribute their own mixes, offering them a platform to showcase their creativity while strengthening City Tales' role as a cultural connector. To deepen the experience, we designed an intuitive audio player that broke away from conventional controls. Instead of a typical seek bar, we introduced a set of colored markers that allowed users to jump to key moments in the mix, encouraging full listening while making discovery effortless. This approach not only enhanced engagement but also inspired listeners to add their favorite tracks to their personal playlists on streaming platforms, extending the experience beyond the site. The digital space itself was crafted to feel warm and familiar. A Beatles-inspired background score set a nostalgic, inviting tone, while a conversational voiceover, delivered in a natural, unpolished style welcomed visitors like old friends. Every element was designed to feel authentic and immersive, reinforcing the brand’s artistic spirit without slipping into a corporate polish.
